Now Available:  Click "Buy Now" and let ESS's skilled optometrists fill your prescription lenses!

For those with prescription eyewear, ESS has the solution. After the lenses have been corrected by an optometrist, either the Wire-Framed Rx Lens Insert or the nylon-framed P-2B Rx Lens Insert snap into either the Profile NVG™ goggle and/or the ICE™ eyeshield nosepiece for a low-profile, lightweight prescription integration. This allows one prescription carrier to work in two products.

Deciding between the wire frame and the nylon frame Rx Inserts is a question of personal taste. The durable nylon-framed P-2B™ is the only Rx Insert authorized for use by US troops, and accommodates a wide range of corrections to +/- 11. The Wire-Framed Rx Lens Insert accommodates a range of corrections to +/- 6, and is the choice of the British Army.

Note: If purchasing for the ESS Profile TurboFan™, please only order the P-2B Rx Insert, as the Wire-Framed Rx Insert is not compatible with this TurboFan model.

Dear Sir,
I thought you might like to hear that your product saved my vision tonight. I was shooting a semi-automatic pistol at an indoor range while wearing a pair of ICE glasses when I experienced a case detonation. Smoke, blast forces, fragmentation...bummer! I used a cloth to remove what I thought were powder flakes from the lenses. I noticed that both lenses were scored by high-speed primer and/or cartridge case. Scored but NOT penetrated (or even close may I add). Had I not been wearing my ICE glasses, I am convinced I'd be blind right now. So please accept my thanks for an excellent product.
Best wishes,
William Aprill, New Orleans
